Simple, warm stay in a perfect trekking location. We stayed for 2 nights (family of 4, two rooms) and had a lovely experience. The family running the guest house is extremely sweet and welcoming, which makes the stay feel very homely. Having dinner on the rooftop was a really nice experience. The guest house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added to the charm. A refreshing experience to be completely disconnected with no internet for two days and enjoy quiet village life. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you’re doing the Double Decker trek and want a peaceful, authentic village experience. Highly recommended for trekkers and nature lovers. Khublei Shibun

Rosemary Guest House offered a warm, comfortable stay with clean rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was polite, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. Its convenient location and homely hospitality made our stay in Meghalaya pleasant and memorable. Highly recommended for a relaxed and budget-friendly stay.

Amazing family-run guesthouse in Tyrna! Extremely clean and cozy rooms with private bathroom. Perfect location — only a few minutes from the start of the trek to Nongriat and the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. The veg thali was truly delicious — the best I’ve had in India so far! There is no Wi-Fi, but that’s very normal in Tyrna, the whole village has very limited internet. Actually it was great to disconnect, relax, and enjoy nature. We originally booked fewer days, but we decided to extend our stay because we felt so comfortable here. Highly recommended for trekkers and nature lovers. Thank you so much to the wonderful family who runs this place!

Lovely little guesthouse with exceptionally friendly owners. It's right in the middle of the village and sitting on the roof watching and listening to village life go by was a beautiful experience. The rooms are also very clean, newly-built and great value for money. Highly recommended!
