“We recently stayed at this property in this property, this property by this property Retreats and booked two suite rooms with living areas, and overall it was a very pleasant and memorable experience. The location is truly excellent. The villa offers stunning Himalayan views, making it a perfect place for a peaceful staycation and for anyone who wants to escape city noise and relax in nature. Waking up to the mountains and fresh air was one of the highlights of our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable living areas that made the suites feel homely and relaxing. One of the biggest highlights was the food. The meals felt home-cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was excellent. The owner and caretaker were very polite, respectful, and attentive, always ready to help and ensure we were comfortable. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. The location is also ideal for exploring nearby attractions such as this property Dham and Almora. They also arranged a projector and sound system, which made our stay even more special. We enjoyed a movie night in the open area with a bonfire and barbecue, watching the film on the projector under a clear, dark night sky filled with bright stars. That experience was truly magical and one of the most memorable moments of our trip. Another lovely touch was the availability of indoor games. The homestay has a good collection of board and card games like Ludo, Snakes & Ladders, playing cards, UNO, etc., which was perfect for spending quality time with family and friends, especially during relaxed evenings. Areas for improvement (not really cons): Room heating was provided through oil-filled heaters. They worked fine but took some time to warm the room, mainly due to voltage issues, which is understandable given the remote hill location. Having a larger carpet in the bedroom area of the suite rooms would be nice during colder seasons. However, we understand that maintaining large carpets in hill areas with limited water, manpower, and electricity can be challenging. Overall, this property is a fantastic choice for travelers looking for peace, beautiful views, great food, and warm hospitality. We had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend this place for families, couples, or anyone planning a relaxing mountain getaway. We would definitely love to visit again.”
