Fursat started in a rented room in Darjeeling in 2018. We kept getting asked for the homestays we already knew, and the chains kept showing up first on Google. So we wrote down seven. Called the owners. Visited them. Put them online.
There are 797 of them now, across 13 states. The rule hasn't changed. Visit the home. Call the owner. Put it online only if we'd book it ourselves.

Every home on Fursat has been visited by someone on our team. If we wouldn't send our own family, it doesn't go up. That's the only rule, and it's why we list hundreds, not thousands.
Ratings come from Google.
Not from a form on our site. Not from a star we can polish. From strangers who stayed, paid, and had an opinion. We publish the rating next to the price, and we don't hide the low ones.
Booked on WhatsApp.
No login wall. No app to install. You message the host directly, the same number before the stay, during, and after. If something goes sideways at 11pm, a human answers.
Cottages over categories.
We don't care about the filter taxonomy. We care about the home. A stone cottage in a small valley, run by someone who lives next door, beats a five-star chain every time.
