“Me n my wife visited stayed here for 3 nights and i would recommend it highly for everyone. This a must stay place for anyone in Dharmshala who loves to be close around rivers and Mountains. Location - 3 Min from the Bustand (Sheela Chowk - All major bus stops here for Delhi), 30min from Airport Host - Abhishek, Super cool human, always ready to guide n help you for whatever you need Caretaker - Saurabh, amazing guy who dropped us to the bus stop and stayed till our bus arrives as it was late in the night. View - Amazing, have lunch n breakfast in the foothills of mountain, Have a dip in the river (super chilled but i tried :D) Safety - No issue at all even if you are travelling solo ( Men/Women) as the caretakers are our age and his wife is also there to help you out. I would recommend everyone to try this once given the view and ambience of this place.”

“The Ballu is a truly special place to visit. The people here make the stay so unique and lovely. And their dogs are so gentle and will immediately grow into your companions for the stay. Whether you want to engage in some beautiful conversation about life and the surrounding area or just stay by yourself and enjoy the quietness of nature around, everything is welcome here. The rooms are beautiful and carry the true character of the region. I would suggest spending some time here, don't just rush to the next destination, there is plenty of stuff to do in Dharamshala and they will surely help you to find the most interesting places for you to go without getting lost in typical touristy attractions. At the same time, even for locals, this is a beautiful space for a retreat, to take a break from our usual schedules, best for a creative retreat or to come with friends or family to enjoy time together! Their food is not only delicious but also healthy and gives you the warm feeling of a home-cooked dish. I cannot stretch it enough, it is a very precious and beautiful place and if you get a chance to visit, do it!”
