Cold river air comes off the water early in the morning, carrying the sound of the Naguni River across the open lawn long before the sun hits the grass. The home is built across two styles of stay, combining traditional stone cottage rooms with spacious fabric-lined tents set directly into the mountain backdrop. Across the 10 bedrooms, 10 beds, and 10 attached bathrooms, the layout accommodates groups up to 20 guests comfortably. The tented rooms are built with high fabric roofs, warm wood-finish flooring, solid double beds with timber headboards, and attached bathrooms fitted with electric geysers, walk-in showers, and stone tile flooring. Small wooden dining tables inside the rooms allow for quiet morning tea indoors, while large glass windows and shaded outdoor porches open straight onto the green grounds and surrounding slopes. Meals are a central part of life at the home. Rajeev manages the kitchen alongside staff members Ankush, Ricky, and Vicky, serving freshly cooked, hot meals to order throughout the day. The kitchen prepares traditional regional food as well as specialized Jain meals upon request. Arrival is straightforward, as the team meets guests down near the road to carry heavy luggage up the steps to the main house and tents. Guest reviews describe the setting and staff directly. Hadimba Devi temple and Vashisht hot springs sit in the main valley area. The ancient wooden temple is surrounded by old cedar trees, while the natural hot sulphur springs at Vashisht provide natural warm baths.

Tsuglagkhang complex in McLeodganj serves as the main Tibetan Buddhist spiritual site in the region. The complex includes the official residence of the Dalai Lama, quiet prayer halls, and rows of copper prayer wheels along the outer walking path.

Bhuntar Airport in Kullu serves internal regional flights, while Gaggal Airport near Dharamshala connects the lower hills. Chandigarh International Airport acts as the major multi-city air gateway for long-distance travelers heading up into Himachal Pradesh.

Pathankot Railway Station is the main broad-gauge rail hub for incoming trains, while Kalka station links directly to the narrow-gauge toy train route. Chandigarh Railway Station provides additional long-distance connections across the northern rail network.

Road access links through main regional transit points including Manali for northern valley routes and McLeodganj for the western hill corridors.

The monsoon months of July and August bring heavy rainfall, mist across the peaks, and swollen river currents, with occasional travel delays along National Highway 3 and National Highway 21.
