The warmth, kindness, and genuine care of the hosts made our stay incredibly special. The village is beautifully peaceful, filled with birdsong and gentle mountain winds. Waking up to the sunrise from the balcony, with the hills slowly lighting up, was a moment of pure serenity. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable, and the home-cooked food is simply wonderful. Their milk tea, especially, is something I will remember for a long time. Birding here was an unforgettable experience thanks to our amazing guides, Nirakar and Dipendra. Their ability to identify birds from the faintest calls and lead us to them so effortlessly was incredible. I also have a leg injury, and their patience, support, and kindness ensured I never missed out on the experience. This place gave us not just great bird sightings, but beautiful memories. We left with full hearts and a strong desire to return soon. If you are a birder or nature lover, this is a place you simply cannot miss!”

“My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this homestay in March 2026. The accommodation was excellent with very clean rooms and toilets, making our three-day trip extremely comfortable. The owner was incredibly polite and attentive. Even at 5:30 AM he came personally to deliver tea in our room as we had to go out for birding. The place is very near to birding hotspots for Rufous necked hornbill star attraction of Latpanchor.”

“Absolutely a wonderful birding, immersion experience in the foothills of the Himalayas! I only wish we had stayed longer with Nirakar and his family at their homestay. I proceeded to travel to Darjeeling, Sri Lanka and Kerala on this trip but the short time spent birding with Nirakar and Dependre was the best experience by far. Amazing ability to identify birds by sound and persistence in finding them. It was remarkable how the whole village worked together to provide the best birding experience for us. I saw a Great hornbill, a family of Rufous Hornbills, Verditer Fly catchers, Scarlet Minivets, Tailor birds. Way too many to list”
