This is the hardest part. Kohima has a few hotels and homestays, all of which fill up 3 months before the festival.

1. Kohima hotels: book 3 to 6 months ahead. Rates triple during Hornbill. 2. Kisama homestays: very limited, walking distance to venue 3. Dimapur hotels: cheaper, but means a 3 to 4 hour daily commute 4. Hornbill Festival Camp: pre-bookable tents at the venue
