I loved waking up to the breathtaking view of the hills right from my window. I could see the Kanchenjunga peak from my room itself. The view from the terrace was equally mesmerising - perfect for a quiet cup of tea while watching the clouds drift by. The food was absolutely delicious, every meal felt home cooked with love and care. And the host? Just amazing….so warm, down to earth and genuinely helpful. They made us feel completely at home away from home. If you are planning a trip to Kurseong, I would highly recommend Mountain View Homestay. The hospitality of the owner is worth mentioning, as it did not feel like we are far away from the comfort of our homes. The food was splendid, served hot and fresh for every meal, with barbecue options as well. Rooms are clean, with top notch WI-FI availability. Just a 2 min walk from Kurseong station so the location is also perfect if you want to explore the town. The view from the rooms is spectacular, blessing us with the sight of Mt Kanchenjunga early in the morning. If someone is coming to Kurseong and wants a comfortable stay, with homely meals, and close to the city centre, this is a perfect choice.”
