Located near to famous places near Sohra/Cherapunji. Rooms are new and clean. Bed is spacious. Got nice balcony with mountain view. Clean washrooms. 24hrs Geyser in room. Parking place is available. Breakfast was available. Lunch and dinner was not available, so have to go to near by places. Price was reasonable. Pinh is a nice host.

Getting there.

The nearest airport is Shillong (SHL) at Umroi (30km), but flights are limited. Guwahati (GAU) is the standard arrival airport, about a 3-hour drive (100km) from Shillong. The nearest railhead is also Guwahati (100km). Shillong is the main road hub. Cherrapunji (Sohra) is 53km away, and Dawki is 95km.

The best time to visit is October to April. The monsoon season (June-September) brings heavy rainfall (10,000mm+), which can cause some cave closures. However, the green scenery is unmatched during this period.
