A few things worth knowing.
BEST TIME: March-May for lush green landscapes after rains. September-October for driest weather. OFF-BEAT ADVANTAGE: Munduk, Sidemen, and Amed are 20-40% cheaper than Seminyak/Ubud for accommodation and food. MT BATUR: Optional sunrise trek on Day 7 (leave at 2 AM, return by 10 AM). Moderate difficulty, guide mandatory. LEMPUYANG TEMPLE: The famous "Gates of Heaven" mirror photo. Queue warning: 1-3 hours during peak. Go before 8 AM. AMED: Some of Bali's best snorkeling right off the beach. USAT Liberty wreck starts at 3m depth - visible even while snorkeling. VISA: Free VoA for Indians (30 days). Apply e-VoA at molina.imigrasi.go.id. CURRENCY: 1 INR = ~185 IDR.
