Zanskar, quietly.

“Had an absolute gem of a stay at this this property homestay in Ufti Village! Located just a short distance from this property, it's enveloped by the majestic Zanskar Mountain Range on all sides - the scenery is simply stunning. The two-storeyed property itself is lovely, with warm and cozy rooms that are nicely furnished and come with all the amenities you'd need. But the real showstopper is the view - every room offers a mesmerizing panorama of the Zanskar Valley and towering mountains. And the hospitality? Top-notch! Sonam bhai was always smiling and helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food was incredible, thanks to Sonam, the cook! His wife and the entire staff, including Tenzin, his son, and the rest of the team, went above and beyond to provide perfect service with a smile. If you're looking for a fantastic homestay experience in this property, this is it - fabulous in every way!”

“this property is indeed “a home away from home”. The location is mind-blowing, you get a 360 degree view of mountains surrounding you. The rooms are decent sized, you wake up looking at the snow peaked mountains through the glass windows and you keep reminding yourself that it’s not a dream, it’s a reality. The owner - Mr. Sonam is an excellent host and even better human being. His wonderful experiences exploring the region gives you a lot of insights about the people, culture and their livelihood. The warmth is unmissable. The food is good, service is excellent, response is always prompt. Perfect place to feel and experience the Zen of Zanskar region.”

“If one loves the Himalayas and fancy living in the mountains, this property is the textbook definition of ‘Home in the Mountains’. By the banks of Tsarap river, surrounded by the mighty Zanskar range on all sides, this place is the closest you can be to heaven - atleast till the time you’re alive! Whenever I’m in Zanskar region, this is the place I’ll always park myself. And the hospitality of Mr. Sonam Noorbu is like getting welcomed into a Ladakhi family every waking moment - truly a home away from home!”
