The way they greet you and check on you feels just like visiting family. Upon arrival, I was offered tea and snacks, even though I booked only the room without meals. Fresh, delicious fruits were also provided in the room, which was a lovely touch. The room itself is clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with hot water and even a hairdryer available. Staying here is always a heartwarming experience—highly recommended if you want to feel at home while in Leh!”

“A Hidden Gem in Leh – this property this property is nothing short of being one of Leh’s countless hidden treasures. This charming place is run with warmth, efficiency, and genuine care by Stanzin and his mother, making it a truly memorable stay. Our experience began even before our arrival, during the initial conversations with Stanzin. His cultured and knowledgeable demeanor immediately left a positive impression. The photos and the Instagram account gave us a glimpse of the beauty of Ladakh, but speaking with Stanzin made us confident that we had found the perfect place to stay. We spent three nights here from April 22nd to 25th as part of our acclimatization plan, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a delicious lunch—a perfect blend of local Ladakhi and traditional Indian flavors that immediately made us feel at home. During our stay, we worked remotely for a couple of days. Stanzin kept his promise and ensured we had access to a comfortable workspace, even providing an office chair for one of us. The Wi-Fi was reliable and strong enough for our professional needs, including video calls. In case of unforeseen power cuts, Stanzin also had a backup Wi-Fi connection, which was incredibly reassuring. The rooms and washrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and clean, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment for rest and rejuvenation. A special highlight of our stay was the warmth and hospitality of Stanzin’s mother. She is truly the heart of the homestay and is as good a guide one can find to be introduced to some authentic Ladakhi cuisine. She greeted us with a sincere smile every time and even taught us how to make khambir, a traditional Ladakhi bread. Except for once when we explored dining options in the market, we decided to enjoy her cooking for most of our meals—fresh, homely, and thoughtfully prepared with an eye toward aiding acclimatization at high altitudes. Her khambir was simply delightful, and we’ve since tried making it back home in Bangalore. The location of Hidden Leaf is conveniently close to Leh market—about a kilometer away—and offers a stunning view of the iconic Shanti Stupa. While it’s not exactly a ‘hidden’ spot, its peaceful surroundings and welcoming atmosphere make it feel like a well-kept secret. In summary, this property is a wonderful blend of comfort, authentic local experience, and warm hospitality. Whether you're in Leh for acclimatization, work, or leisure, this place offers everything you need for a memorable stay. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning someday!”

“My wife and I,both senior citizens had a 6days trip to Ladakh in August and had an wonderful stay at this property for 3 nights. It is located in a quiet place and15 minutes walk to the Leh market. It is surrounded by a garden with outdoor seating provision.The vegetables served to guests are from their kitchen garden. The rooms are very clean, spacious and equipped with high speed WI-FI, electric kettle, tea, coffee etc. One can keep the luggage in the storage while visiting other places. The hosts, Stanzin and his mom are very nice, helpful and welcoming. We were served with varieties of tasty Ladakhi cuisines. Their domestic help is also very helpful with an ever smiling face. The driver cum guide (Dorjee) arranged by Stanzin is a very nice person and an experienced driver. With Stanzin's help and guidance we completed our tour comfortably.
