Tsawang owns this guest house and takes care of it, she is very warm and welcoming. The food is also homely, tasty and simple, almost everything is home grown which just makes it special. It almost feels as if home away from home!”

“We stayed here on the first night of the Sham valley trek. What a treat ! Lovely, welcoming homestay owners and delicious food. The best of all was the traditional room that we had on the top floor. It had fantastic views of Likir monastery and the valley below. The guest house is quite difficult to find though if you don’t know there are more guest houses above the monastery. Continue on the road past most of the houses of Upper Likir, then turn up the steps to the left, as if visiting the monastery, pass through the monastery on the road and continue upwards on the road to the right, there you will see this property. It is well worth the walk and allows one to have an easy early morning visit to the monastery.”
