“We had the pleasure to stay at Namdruk Home Stay, Hanle. It’s situated very close to the observatory, thus making it the best place to do stargazing. We were hosted by a beautiful family who were very humble and cooked us amazing food, fresh and home made, it was very fulfilling. Room was very clean and tidy, with hygienic washroom, very good privacy as well. Very grateful to our hosts who were ready to fulfil every request.”

“A peaceful retreat with heartwarming hospitality! Namdruk Homestay, perched at a breathtaking altitude of 14,700 feet, truly exceeded our expectations! Despite the remote location, the homestay offered all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable and warm stay. The lovely host family was extremely kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The cozy rooms with attached washrooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered great value for money. We especially appreciated the hot water being available on request — a true luxury at this altitude! The homemade food was simple, fresh, and incredibly tasty, adding to the charm of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanle. Tip - Always check the weather forecast and moon cycle before planning your trip to Hanle. We ended up in Hanle on a full moon day with overcast weather conditions. The worst combination for star gazing!”
