“What a gem of a place! We stayed at this property, tucked away just 1 km behind Raithal Village—the perfect base for trekking to Dayara Bugyal—and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The host Mukesh bhai and his wife were so warm and welcoming, treating us like family right away. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and ca...”

The closest airport is Jolly Grant Airport (DED) in Dehradun. The nearest major railhead is in Haridwar (HW). From either Dehradun or Haridwar, Raithal is a full day's drive. You can hire a private taxi for the journey, which takes you through the Garhwal Himalayas.
The home is open year-round. The clearest skies and best weather for trekking are from March to June and again from September to November. The views of the high peaks are sharpest during these months. The monsoon season, July and August, sees heavy rain and can cause landslides on the roads. From December to February, the region sees heavy snowfall, and the Dayara Bugyal meadows are completely covered in snow, offering a different kind of beauty.
