The first thing you notice is the view. A long, shared balcony runs along the front of the home, looking out over the hills and directly at the snow-capped peaks of Kanchenjunga. Inside, the home is simple and functional. The rooms are lined with wooden panels, giving them a warm, cabin-like feel. Rooms are clean and come with attached bathrooms that have running hot water. Some rooms are spacious enough to fit three, making them a good fit for small families. As one guest, Paramita, put it, "The wooden rooms were very picturesque and had direct view of entire Kanchenjunga range." There is no formal restaurant here. Instead, the kitchen serves home-cooked meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with evening snacks and tea also available. Guests have often mentioned the food is simple and tasty. Another traveller, Arup, noted, "The location of this homestay is most prime location and you can see the mountains from your rooms only. All rooms are so spacious and we'll decorated and the food also so tasty."
