Shimla Railway Station (SML) is the nearest major railhead, about 410 km from the location. Buses and taxis connect from Shimla.
From Manali, shared cabs and HRTC buses are available, taking approximately 8-10 hours depending on road conditions.
From Shimla, direct HRTC buses to Kaza are available, a journey of about 18-20 hours.
Private taxis can be arranged from major hubs like Chandigarh (approx. 500 km) for a direct route.
