You can hire a private taxi directly from the airport, which takes about 5-6 hours. • 🚂 From New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station: New Jalpaiguri (NJP) is the closest major railway station, around 155 km from your stay. Taxis are readily available outside the station for the 5-hour journey. • 🚌 Shared Taxis & Buses: From both Bagdogra and NJP, shared taxis (Sumos) are available to Geyzing or Tashiding, from where you can find local transport to Yuksom. Direct bus services are less frequent. • 🚗 Private Vehicle: For a seamless journey, pre-arranging a private taxi is recommended. This offers comfort and convenience, especially when traveling with luggage. • 🛣️ Local Landmark: Once in Yuksom, follow the main street.
