Authority: the Director, Tourism, Government of Jharkhand is the prescribed authority. The whole process is online through the department's website.

The fee is paid only through the online system. A unit already registered with the Ministry of Tourism does not pay the state fee but must submit a notarised copy of that certificate, and its state certificate runs for the period of the central registration. Otherwise the certificate is issued for three years, and renewal is applied for at least six months before expiry.
