What about 1. fix the calendar first?

An out-of-date calendar costs bookings in two ways: guests find "available" dates you cannot honour, or they see everything blocked and leave. Keep your calendars accurate on every site. If you are on more than one, read our iCal sync guide.

What about 2. be on more than one site?

Guests search on different apps. A listing only on Airbnb is invisible to someone who books on Booking.com, Agoda or MakeMyTrip. Adding sites widens your reach, and the cost is calendar upkeep, which is exactly what a channel manager removes. See Airbnb vs Booking.com vs MakeMyTrip for hosts.

What about 3. turn views into bookings?

If people open your listing but do not book, the page is the problem:

What about 4. price for the calendar, not for the year?

- Charge more on peak dates: long weekends, festivals and your region's high season. Charge less to fill known quiet gaps. - Set a minimum stay on peak weekends so a single night does not block a longer booking. - Check similar listings nearby for the same dates before you set a rate. - Offer a modest longer-stay discount if you want weekday occupancy.

What about 5. make it easy to book?

Guests in India often prefer to confirm on WhatsApp. Respond with the dates, the price, what is included and how to pay, in one clear message. Clear terms close bookings faster than a long back and forth.

What about 6. track two numbers?

Write down occupancy (nights booked divided by nights available) and average nightly rate each month. If occupancy is low, work on visibility and the listing. If occupancy is high but income is flat, raise your prices on busy dates.

What about where fursat helps?

Fursat lists your home to guests and syncs your calendars so you can be on more sites without double bookings. Start at /list-your-property, or read about the free channel manager. For ranking on Airbnb specifically, see ranking tips for homestay hosts.

How can I get more bookings on Airbnb?

Improve the first photos and title, keep your calendar accurate, reply fast, collect reviews and price peak dates higher. Adding other booking sites also widens your reach.

How do I increase my homestay income?

Raise the average nightly rate on peak dates, fill quiet gaps with a lower rate or longer-stay discount, and list on more than one site.

Why do people view my listing but not book?

Usually the photos, the first lines, unclear details or slow replies. Fix the page and your response time before you change the price.

Is it worth listing on more than one site?

Often yes, because guests use different apps. The catch is keeping calendars in sync, which a channel manager automates.
