Tosh village sits 19km up the valley road, serving as the last drivable settlement before high-altitude hiking paths begin. The village features traditional wooden architecture, simple local eateries, and wide views across the upper valley ridge.
The Kheerganga trek starts 12km further up at Barshaini. The trail demands a full day of steady walking through pine forests to reach natural hot springs located at 2,950 metres above sea level. Sturdy footwear and adequate water are necessary for the climb.
Manikaran Sahib is located 4km down the road. The historical Sikh gurdwara and temple complex is constructed directly over hot mineral springs, serving hot food continuously from its langar kitchen throughout the day.
Malana village is reached via a 4km uphill trail starting near Jari. The village maintains ancient traditions, distinct social norms, and its own governance framework. Visitors must adhere strictly to local rules and refrain from touching structures or temple walls.

Getting there.
Bhuntar Airport (KUU) is 30km away near Kullu. It acts as the single airport serving the Parvati Valley region, with regional flight options connecting from Delhi and Chandigarh depending on weather clarity.
Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) is 285km away. The road drive takes roughly 9 hours via Mandi along the main national highway before entering the valley road at Bhuntar.
Pathankot railhead sits 250km from the property. Transit from the railway station to the valley takes around 7 hours by private taxi or local bus routes.
Bhuntar functions as the primary transport hub 30km down the valley, connecting local taxi stands and regional bus networks heading toward Manikaran and Tosh.
Best time to visit.
March through June brings clear blue skies, thawing snow along high mountain ridges, and moderate daytime weather. Spring days remain crisp with cold night temperatures.
September through November provides dry trails, clear mountain views, and bright light across the pine forest slopes. The air turns sharp before winter snow sets in.
July and August mark the heavy monsoon period in the valley. Cloudbursts and rockslides occur along narrow mountain stretches, making advance checks on road status necessary prior to travel.
