A look around
What's here
You arrive on a pristine slope in the Sainj valley, away from the noise of the main town. The home is a simple, family-oriented place, with a cozy common area to sit and look out at the view. The host, Tushar, and his family live here, and the experience is about spending a day with them. They keep the kettle on and the food is always homely and warm. As one guest, Adhib Aji, put it, the space offers "the comfort of a distant home." This is a place to pause for a day, not to stay the night. The home does not have bedrooms or beds available for guests. There are, however, clean and hygienic washrooms for visitors to use during their time here. The focus is on the experience outside the four walls - the food, the conversations with Tushar, and the surrounding nature. It’s a space built for connection, where guests often feel like part of the family. According to another visitor, it's a "friendly & family oriented place to stay where you find peace, comfort, joy, togetherness & of course the mesmerizing view of the location."

The main activity here is exploring the landscape with Tushar. He grew up in these hills and knows the paths that aren't on any map. He guides guests himself, sharing stories along the way.

One of the most recommended experiences is the guided walk to see the sunrise and sunset. Jalaj Saini, a guest, said, "He drove us around all the fascinating trails where I have seen the best sunset and sunrise till date." These aren't strenuous, high-altitude treks, but gentle hikes meant for soaking in the views and the quiet. The trails wind through the forest, opening up to clearings with wide views of the valley. It's a good idea to carry a water bottle and wear comfortable walking shoes. Tushar will handle the rest.

For those who simply want to be still, the area around the home is perfect for finding a quiet spot to read, watch the light change over the mountains, or just listen to the sounds of the valley.
