Nearest Railhead: Rangapara North (280km) — the closest railhead for the Tawang side.
Road Hubs:
Bhalukpong (0km) — the gateway from Assam; permits checked here.
Bomdila (165km) — halfway to Tawang; an overnight stop.
Tawang (320km) — the monastery town; a 2-day drive from Guwahati via Sela Pass (4,170m).
