The cottages are well maintained, the staff are courteous, and the lush green surroundings are truly refreshing. From the airport, private taxis or shared cabs are readily available to reach Zakhama. • 🚂 By Train: Dimapur Railway Station (DMAP) is the closest railhead, located about 85 km from the property. Taxis and shared vehicles can be hired directly from the station. • 🚌 By Bus: Regular bus services operate from Dimapur to Kohima. From Kohima, local buses or taxis can take you the remaining distance to Zakhama, roughly 20 km. • 🚕 Private Taxi: For convenience, we recommend arranging a private taxi directly from Dimapur Airport or Railway Station. This offers a comfortable journey through the scenic hilly terrain. • 🚗 Self-Drive: The location is set on hilly terrain and can be a bit challenging to reach, so a sturdy vehicle is advised.
