The home is easy to find, right on the road in Kigwema village. A flight of white stairs, lined with potted flowers, leads you up from the street. Inside, you'll find one large room that sleeps up to three guests. One wall is panelled in warm, unpolished wood, giving the space an authentic charm. The room has a king bed, a small seating area with a wooden bench, and a coffee table. A space heater keeps things warm on cool nights, and an electric kettle is provided. There is one attached bathroom with a toilet, sink, and a shower with a geyser for hot water. A large window and a balcony offer a view out over the village and the hills beyond. The heart of the home is the host, Sobu. Guests consistently describe him as more of a family member than a proprietor, someone who looks after you with genuine care. As one guest, Umang Sarawagi, wrote, "He helped me a lot as like the elder brother of the family when I stuck with fever/ vomiting / dizziness. He provided me all the best possible help not as the owner of thehouse but as the member of the family."
