The best time to visit Shangarh and the surrounding region is during the shoulder seasons:
March-June: Snow-melt to summer, with pleasant temperatures and clear skies.
September-November: Clear skies and excellent visibility.
Avoid the monsoon season (July-August) due to landslides on NH-3 and NH-21. Snow can be expected in the upper sections of Manali, Shimla, and Dharamshala from December to February.
