“We stayed there for 3 nights and what we witnessed was abundance. Its a massive property built over an acre. The main residence, where we stayed, is a 2 storey Rajasthani haveli you rarely see nowadays. The opulence is seen as soon as you enter the haveli. A grand marble staircase winds up to the first floor where the guests are housed. Our room had a massive terrace right above the archway entrance of the haveli, and as I stood on that terrace overlooking the entire property, I felt like a 'Thakur' from one of our old Bollywood films with all the pomp and pride. The walls inside are adorned with exquisite and emotive paintings & sketches made by one of the family member. The haveli is adjoined by a big, well maintained garden filled with numerous variety of flowers, & if you're lucky enough and visit in season, you might even see ponds of lotuses. There are many trees in the vicinity, and among all the birds you'll witness, parrots dominate these trees. Their singing and squawking in turn dominates the sunrise and sunset. Something I really wouldn't mind waking upto and end my day with. You cannot ask for a healthier and sumptuous breakfast, with mostly everything grown organically on their property. For dairy, they have their own cattle. The breakfast arrangements and kitchen is helmed by Shipra ji, one of most humble & respectful person we've met. During our entire stay we were treated as family members, and since we were leaving on Lohri morning, the family was sweet enough to build a bonfire for us on our last night. Lastly, the abundance I spoke about in the beginning just wasn't material. What we experienced was an abundance in hospitality, humility, love & respect. We will definitely visit again soon.”
