Nearest airport is Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL), approximately 120 km away. A scenic drive of about 4-5 hours is required.
The nearest major railway station is Jammu Tawi (JAT), roughly 700 km away. This is a multi-day journey with subsequent road travel.
From Leh, shared taxis or private cabs are readily available for the journey to Diskit. The route offers stunning high-altitude landscapes.
Local buses from Leh also run to Diskit, though less frequently. Check schedules in advance for availability and timings.
