A look around
What's here
Morning here begins with bird calls across the asphalt lane, where the dense tree line of the Banshbari range stands right outside your front boundary. A gravel path edges past young palm plants and lawn grass toward independent white-walled cottages topped with sloped roofs. Step onto the front porch, sit on the woven cane bench under the porch overhang, and look across the central courtyard where managers Bitupon Bora and Manjit Buragohain meet arriving guests.
The home offers eight individual cottages spread across the grounds, providing eight king beds and eight attached bathrooms for groups of up to 16 guests. Each private unit provides simple, functional shelter designed for rest after hours spent in an open safari vehicle. High wood-paneled ceilings overhead frame the bedrooms, where dark timber beams accent the walls. Room setups include king beds fitted with crisp white linens, bedside lamps, wall-mounted air conditioning, a low writing desk, a television, and cane sitting chairs around a small tea table. Attached bathrooms are fitted with dark wall tiles, overhead showers, wall-mounted hot water geysers, mirrors with built-in light frames, and standard bucket-and-mug options.
Every cottage comes built with dual outdoor seating spaces. The front verandah opens onto the lawn and stone-lined garden walkways, while the rear porch faces directly toward the national park border. Guest Prasenjit Nandi noted that "all the cottages having two Varandah. One is at the front side and other one is at the back side, Manas National Park facing."
Dining centers on home-style cooking served fresh from the property kitchen. The team prepares regional dishes in generous portions where a single platter easily feeds two adults. The kitchen staff adjusts spices, oil, or meal prep on request for older travelers or children. Guest Sandeep Kaul shared that "the main highlight of our stay at this property was the hospitality and genuine care which they provided especially regarding food required for my elderly parents."
The staff manages local travel plans right from the front porch. Guest Mausumi Mahanta noted that "the room was basic, but cosy, linen clean, and our Forest Safari and trip to Panbang Bhutan was arranged by Mr. Bora." Whether you want to step out early for a walk along the perimeter or arrange park entries, the team handles logistics on site.
