"I had the sweetest time at Ethnic Homestay. They welcomed us into their homes with such genuine care. We were able to learn a lot about Naga and Angami culture, we were able to experience local, home grown food ans produce. Highly recommend this homestay if you want to feel safe, and cared for."
"We were welcomed with such warmth by Avonuo and her family that it was very hard to leave! Their home is beautiful, calm and relaxing, and gives you just the escape you need from the hustle and bustle of a hectic hornbill. The time you spend here is full of little learnings, each conversation leaves you richer in knowledge and unlearnings. You understand better, the ways in which Naga culture is rooted in kindness and kinship."
"As a vegetarian, I knew I would have to eat only rice daal and some bland curry with it... But I got a wholeeeee veg platter everytime. Like, rice, daal, curry, chutney, papad, bamboo shoot soup, sticky rice (mixed with something else) sausages type something and two different types of tea which I had never tasted before. I'm forgetting a few more authentic VEGETARIAN Naga Dishes that we had there."
"From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a deep sense of cultural pride. The hosts made me feel like I was part of their family, and I got to experience life as a local rather than just a visitor. The accommodation was cozy, with simple yet comfortable rooms."
