One hour distance from Darjeeling, Tamu Homestay is just like a picture postcard. Owner, Mr. Nasib Gurung ji is so kind hearted and his wife too. Their pet Mikel and Sweety are দুর্দান্ত। পাশের বাড়ির মোবি আর নেলো তো আরো মিষ্টি। Beauty of the landscape in front of the houses is awesome. The hospitality of the owners is too satisfying. Rooms are clean & specious. Strongly recommended for those who are willing to spend a few days without any disturbance of daily hectic schedules. But 1500 per day per head, little bit high as per given service. They serve only 4 pcs small pakoda per head for evening snacks. The road condition from main road to homestay appx. 4 km. is pathetic. But again I will say that the ambience around the homestay is just mind blowing. It is near (4km) to Mim busty, one can visit Mim tea estate by car.
