We've spent two nights in Sunakhari. A well maintained nice place to stay in. Artistic touches seen in every corner. Room and food both are quite good. It's truely a homestay - each member of Rai famly is dedicated to satisfy the guests. The owner, Prashant Rai is a fun-loving guy having special interest in Bengali song, art & culture. The driver Amar (his cousin bro) for our pickup, drop & sight-seeing, is also a soft spoken, well mannered person.

Nice experience while staying in the homestay with my family. Service was quiet friendly and ambience was homely. Food needs to be improved, otherwise overall it was good. There was no room heater supplied by the owner. It should have been given by them.

We stayed there for a day. From the the time we reached they took all the responsibilities. They carried our luggage, gave extra pillows, hot water to take shower . Auntie(Prashant ji's mom) is such a darling. She was chatting with us, made ginger tea on our request. The food was hot and delicious. I can't forget their chicken curry with whole black pepper. Their behavior is so good. The staff even provided us hot water at night to drink. The view is just spectacular. Wherever you go, it's beautiful. And the river is just in a few minutes walking distance. We could hear the sound of river all day long. We'll surely stay there again....
